The horse has long been a symbol of honor and pride for our nation, especially for men. In Uzbekistan, including Bukhara, the art of riding dates back thousands of years. Historically, equestrian sports have been included in the program of the ancient Olympic Games since 680 BC, and it is well known that the love of equestrian sports and equestrianism has been formed since ancient times.
Nowadays, in order to attract the harmoniously developed generation to equestrian sports, modern management, polo and ulak-kupkari, select talented young people interested in equestrian sports, to develop selection work, to train highly skilled athletes. A number of efforts are being made by government.
In this sense, the National Guard officials organized a trip of the youth to the School of Riders. Students of the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology, who attended the event as guests, accompanied the children.
During the trip, young people got acquainted with the history of equestrian sports, the achievements of our athletes in the world arenas and the systematic work of our government to promote equestrian sports, as well as the training process of athletes and horseback riding.
During the event, detailed answers were given by officials to questions asked by young people interested in equestrian sports.
