Pupils of family orphanages established in the Fergana region in accordance with the Presidential Decree “On measures to introduce a radically updated system for raising orphans and children left without parental care” undergo an in-depth medical examination. The purpose of the medical examination, organized by the Department of the National Guard in the Ferghana region together with the regional health department, is to prevent diseases and early detection of ailments. In addition, during the medical examination, conversations are held with children, they are explained why it is so important to protect health from a young age, how bad habits affect the human body, especially young people, and recommendations are given on how to maintain health.
Qualified specialists, such as therapists, surgeons, pediatricians, ophthalmologists, ENT, traumatologists (orthopedists), neurologists, dentists of regional family polyclinics, were involved in the medical examination. In total, doctors examined more than 100 children.
Experienced doctors also talked with the parents of the children and gave appropriate recommendations on regular physical education and sports, compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules, and proper diet while forming a healthy lifestyle.
